A fire that engulfed several vehicles including a campervan has been tackled by firefighters in Droitwich.

Crews from the town were called to Woodmans Way on the Westlands estate at 9.30pm yesterday (Wednesday, June 15).

Explosions could be heard across the estate with the billowing smoke seen as far away as Worcester.

“The fire, which involved a campervan, three small vehicles, three garages and fencing, was extinguished by two firefighters using breathing apparatus and two hosereel jets,” the spokesperson said, adding that there were no casualties.
